Obituary of barbara jean ray

Barbara was born on March 2, 1943 in Kilmichael, Mississippi. She was one of three children born to Lucille and Robert Daniels who have preceded her in death. In 1963, she began a Bible study program with Jehovah’s Witnesses, later dedicated her life to Jehovah and symbolized that dedication by baptism on August 26, 1968. She was a faithful witness of Jehovah for 52 years! Among Barbara’s greatest loves were fishing, watching classic movies, shopping, playing cards, dancing, listening to music, being hospitable, hosting parties, and traveling. She will be remembered for her solid faith in Jehovah, zeal for the ministry, warm smile, contagious laughter, kind, sweet, and loving temperament. She is now in Jehovah’s memory among many other faithful witnesses awaiting a resurrection. Barbara leaves behind five wonderful children, Deborah of Pensacola, FL, Karen and husband Tim of Apex, NC, Cheryl of Milwaukee, WI, Dakacher of Milwaukee, WI, and Kevin and wife Aisha of Chicago, IL; 14 grandchildren, April, Maurice, Dariusz, Anton, Alexia, Arielle, Jaylon, Ciara, Connor, Dashayla, Divine, Kevin Jr., Austin, Addison; five great-grandchildren, Arryanna, Amaya, Zayvien, Zayden, La’nya; extended family and a host of friends whose lives have been lovingly touched by hers. A poem selected by Deborah to convey her deepest thoughts and feelings: If Roses Grow in Heaven by Dolores M. Garcia If roses grow in heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me, Place them in my Mother’s arms and tell her they’re from me. Tell her I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but there’s an ache within my heart that will never go away.
